LAUNCHING 27TH MAY

After already celebrating their 15th anniversary with a metallic edition of the ASICS GEL–DS Trainer OG, Danish sneaker connoisseurs Wood Wood are doubling down on the classic silhouette: For their second drop, Wood Wood brings back the ASICS Tiger GEL-DS Trainer OG in an athletic mesh edition.

Whereas the first version of the W.W. X ASICS Tiger GEL-DS Trainer OG was reminiscent of disc based media players from the 90s, the second version seems to hint more at Dieter Rams designed electronics of the 60s.

The subtle take on the 90s runner features a mesh toebox, grey suede ASICS Tiger stripes and tan leather panels on the heel. The skeleton upper provides extra midfoot stability, ASICS GEL technology makes for perfect density and the neoprene bootie the perfect fit. Also the GEL-DS Trainer OG features a Duo-Sole outsole for enhanced flexibility, durability and traction. Additional details include red eyelets, olive green lace tips and outsole, yellow leather accents, oval laces and W.W. branding on the tongue.

Again, Wood Wood co-founders Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS Jensen add flavor via subtle tweaks and additions, including W.W. co-branding on the tongue label and insole, breathable mesh toe box, leather heel panels in contrasting tan, as well as ASICS Tiger stripes in grey suede.

The classic runner retains its benchmark-setting functionality by ways of ASICS GEL cushioning in combination with an equally grippy and responsive DuoSole outsole.
