Every summer the Japanese celebrate Sea Day, which gives thanks for everything the ocean provides and its importance to island nation.
This year ASICS Tiger looks to do the same by creating the ocean inspired GEL-Lyte V Summer Escape.
The upper is constructed from premium leathers in a mix of Bristol Blue and Indian Ink, with a fish emboss added to some of the panels,
as a nod to some of the creatures that call the ocean home. The bright shade of Crystal Blue adds some pop to the branding and the midsole,
whilst the insoles are treated to a Japanese wave design that rounds out the concept perfectly and ties in perfectly with the midsole waves
that are synonymous with the GEL-Lyte V.
